Let me take you to Paris at the end of the 19th century, the age of Impressionism. The Musée d’Orsay is home to the world’s largest collection of Impressionist art. The building itself, a former railway station dating back to 1900 with a rich history of its own, has become a temple of art.

We will talk about Manet, Monet, Degas, Rodin, Cézanne, Sisley, and Tissot, and see their works in the context of Parisian history. We will then move on to the Post-Impressionists: we will explore the mystery of Van Gogh and discover the Art Nouveau style.
